Kait’s yoga journey began in elementary school when Leslie Lagos would take her to children’s yoga classes. Leslie even brought her a few more times when she was in high school. When college rolled around and she was living in Colorado she was dealing with some bumps in the road and needed to find ways to manage her stress so she decided to think back to what made her happy as a child, and the one answer she got was kids yoga classes! She sought out the closest yoga studio The Sanctuary and started taking Kundalini classes.

Kaits yoga journey was always present in her life and she always found her way back on her mat when she needed to the most. It was after the Kundalini classes she decided she wanted to be a yoga teacher. Coming back from college her freshman year and started going to Chakra Power in Braintree and the Vinyasa approach helped her even more. When the Pandemic happened and the world got crazy, she ended up moving back to Braintree and doing her 200hr- YTT Yoga Teaching Certification under Nichole Burrell and Kris Cox at Chakra Power Yoga, with Nikki Gendron as her mentor finishing in December 2021. Growing up in Massachusetts and moving to Colorado and Then New Hampshire at the start of the pandemic she could not be any more blessed and grateful to find her way back to Massachusetts and Chakra Power. It truly is an honor to teach and hold space for anyone who walks in to the studio.

Out of the studio Kait loves learning and loves teaching however she can. She has three dogs (2 rescues) and loves teaching owners about behavioral rehabilitation with their pets, as well as adores working with kids and teaching them daily on emotional regulation, stress management, empathy and emotional intelligence. Teaching truly is a momentous part of Kaits life and between the dogs and the kids she works with as well as her own experiences yoga has been a backbone behind it all.

At Kaits classes you will be met with a big smile, feel right at home in the studio where there is a true sense of a safe and unconditionally loving space. You will settle right on to your mat and time flies by as we take our asana flows. Nervous systems will come to settle as we move our breath with our bodies, and our bodies with our breath. Spiritually, energetically, mentally and physically you will feel rested refreshed and recharged!!
