Class Descriptions

All levels Vinyasa & Power Flow

Vinyasa is our standard flow class. Power Flow is a vinyasa class with an emphasis on Sun Salutations and Warrior poses through which you should expect more intensity & sweat! Breath and movement are linked together with the intention of creating strength, allowing for space in the body, and experiencing the surrender of relaxing.  Teachers may offer advanced postures in vinyasa classes and are also available to offer modifications (please speak with your teacher before class about any injuries or physical limitations). Classes are Moderate to Fast paced.

Rockin’ Flow Yoga

Rockin' Flow classes take the Vinyasa class up a notch with loud, lively and often explicit hip hop, rock and dance music playlists. Classes are fun, fast-paced and super sweaty. Beginners are 100% welcome but the focus of this class is less on teaching alignment and more on expression, freedom, and having a blast!

mindful movement & Gentle Flow

These are our slower moving variation of our All Levels Vinyasa class.  Both classes allow for a meditative, purposeful, "slow yoga," experience. Mindful Movement focuses more on the internal, energetic elements of the practice while Gentle classes may focus more on alignment and creating physical ease in the body.

SPA Yoga

SPA Yoga is a slow flow, floor-based restorative yoga class rooted in the Fluid Yoga style of sequencing. This class appeals to all of the body’s senses and transports you to new heights of relaxation. The physical practice spends time opening all energetic points of the body to leave the practitioner with a “blissed-out” feeling. We end every practice with a relaxing 15-minute guided meditation.

During SPA, you may discover extra hands-on assists and massages, a calming candlelit atmosphere, delightful scents and calming music.

Restorative yoga is a practice of using props and stillness to create a state of rest and ease in the body.  When the body is fully relaxed healing on the physical, emotional and spiritual level is increased.  Class is quiet, internal and the perfect way to end your week.

Restorative yoga provides healing for the body and mind. It is especially useful in eliminating fatigue and stress. Frequent practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health.

The perfect way to chill out after a long week. Expect stretching and some slow flow/movement followed by a "fest" of blankets, bolsters, incense, essential oils, eye-pillows and everything else you need for a full-on Friday night chill out.  Class is candlelit and is a perfect offering for student of all levels, pregnant students and those recovering from injury. Sometimes there is snoring during savasana.

Flow Foundations

Expect the opportunity to strengthen, stretch and learn valuable information about the physical, spiritual and energetic foundations of yoga in this moderately challenging class.  A great class for beginners as well as those looking to learn more about aspects of the practice.

Moonlight Flow Vinyasa

Vinyasa brought to you by moonlight, candlelight and accompanied by cool, earthy music.  Moonlight Flow incorporates movement and longer holds of quieting poses.

Beginner Basics

A great (but not the only) place to start. Class is informative and slow with intention placed on those beginning the practice. All levels are welcome - please arrive early if you have injuries or physical limitations so you speak with the instructor before class!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a quiet and simple practice, where stretches are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga works deeply in the body targeting deep connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body, rather than the muscles. Energetically, yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles.
