Class Descriptions

All levels Vinyasa

Vinyasa is our standard flow class.  Breath and movement are linked together with the intention of creating strength, allowing for space in the body, and experiencing the surrender of relaxing.  Teachers may offer advanced postures in vinyasa classes and are also available to offer modifications (please speak with your teacher before class about any injuries or physical limitations). Classes are Moderate to Fast paced.

Rockin’ Flow Yoga

Rockin' Flow classes take the Vinyasa class up a notch with loud, lively and often explicit hip hop, rock and dance music playlists. Classes are fun, fast-paced and super sweaty. Beginners are 100% welcome but the focus of this class is less on teaching alignment and more on expression, freedom, and having a blast!

mindful movement

A slower moving variation of our All Levels Vinyasa class.  This class allows for a meditative, purposeful, "slow yoga," experience. A great Saturday morning start for all.

Relax, Restore, Renew

This gentle mid-week class offers students the opportunity to flow through some simple movements, to connect with breath and to spend some time in restorative yoga postures which open and relax the body.

Restorative yoga is a practice of using props and stillness to create a state of rest and ease in the body.  When the body is fully relaxed healing on the physical, emotional and spiritual level is increased.  Class is quiet, internal and the perfect way to end your week.

The perfect way to chill out after a long week. Expect stretching and some slow flow/movement followed by a "fest" of blankets, bolsters, incense, essential oils, eye-pillows and everything else you need for a full-on Friday night chill out.  Class is candlelit and is a perfect offering for student of all levels, pregnant students and those recovering from injury. Sometimes there is snoring during savasana.

Flow Foundations

Expect the opportunity to strengthen, stretch and learn valuable information about the physical, spiritual and energetic foundations of yoga in this moderately challenging class.  A great class for beginners as well as those looking to learn more about aspects of the practice.

Moonlight Flow Vinyasa

Vinyasa brought to you by moonlight, candlelight and accompanied by cool, earthy music.  Moonlight Flow incorporates movement and longer holds of quieting poses.

Yoga is one of the most highly recommended forms of exercise during pregnancy because it helps so much with balance, strength and stamina while calming the central nervous system and relieving tension in the low back, hips and shoulders. Classes will include active movement and stretching, instruction regarding individual and general modifications for pregnancy and some serious time to chill out and catch your breath. No previous yoga experience required. Woman at all stages of pregnancy are welcome.
